Biden promised he would end Nord Stream 2 if Russia invaded Ukraine, so he would be keeping his promise by ordering the likely bombing of the pipeline.

It makes a lot of sense that that the Russian would damage their own pipeline and reduce their leverage over the West’s dependence on their natural gas.
