POLITICAL ZOO

Should you need a photo ID to go to McDonald’s but not to vote?

Washington DC has announced that residents over 18 must not leave the house without a photo ID and vaccination proof.

YES

Not everyone has a right to a McMuffin.

NO

A photo ID prevents voter fraud but not needed for burgers.

A new rule has been imposed in the state of DC that requires proof of vaccination and photo ID for visiting most public places, including restaurants, bars, gyms, and theaters. The rule is applicable to those over 12 years of age. Similar rules are in place in other major cities run by Democrats such as New York, Los Angeles, Boston, and Philadelphia.

Interestingly, DC does not require ID for most voters. The only time it requires ID is when registering for voting or when voting for the first time. As for the rest of the states, some states require Photo ID, some require Non-Photo ID, and some require no ID at all.
